Media & Copyright Compliance Policy

Disney-approved media assets

Rope Drop Ready administrators may upload official Disney marketing assets obtained through an authorized Disney travel-advisor portal or the DisneyCopyright resource, but only when the administrator has confirmed the asset is licensed for the intended website or digital- marketing use. Every Disney-supplied asset is entered into an internal media-compliance registry that stores:

• File name
• Source portal
• Asset or approval reference
• Permitted usage channels
• Required copyright notice
• Date downloaded
• Expiration date, if applicable
• Geographic restrictions
• Modification restrictions
• Approval status
• The pages on which the asset is used

No unauthorized modifications

Disney-supplied assets are not automatically cropped, recoloured, stripped of copyright notices, modified, or used to generate derivatives. Any resize, crop, or edit is performed only when the source license explicitly permits it and is recorded in the asset's compliance record.

Publication is blocked when

• Usage permission is unknown or unverified
• The required approval reference is missing
• The license has expired
• The intended channel is not on the permitted-channels list
• Required copyright wording is missing

What we do allow

• Original travel photography owned by our team or contributors
• Properly licensed stock photography with retained license records
• Original Rope Drop Ready graphics and illustrations

What we never do

We do not import or copy images from Disney public websites, Google Images, social-media accounts, or third-party blogs simply because they are publicly viewable. Public visibility is not a license.

Reporting a concern

If you believe an image on Rope Drop Ready is used without proper licensing, contact us and we will remove or replace it while the record is reviewed.
